Daniel has extensive experience working with technology start-ups and development organizations focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and smart energy technologies, particularly in developing and emerging markets across Africa and Asia. He is a member of the World Energy Council’s global Future Energy Leaders (FEL-100) programme and a past recipient of the Young Energy Professional Award (Sub-Saharan Africa) from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Project Management certificate from Cornell University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge. Daniel is passionate about contributing to the topics of energy access, digitalization, and sustainable development.
